Making music with friends in the unique atmosphere of sacral-baroque venues on the Rhein is the theme of this 19th edition of the Solsberg Festival, which aims to make the deep and beautiful aspects of music discoverable and accessible. The musicians who contribute to the Solsberg Festival have all won major international prizes and can undoubtedly be numbered among the new generation of leading international soloists.
For this solo recital, Mario Brunello on the cello piccolo will be playing several works by Johann Sebastian Bach, including Sonata No. 1 in G minor for Solo Violin, BWV 1001; Partita No. 1 in B minor for Solo Violin, BWV 1002; and Partita No. 2 in D minor for Solo Violin, BWV 1004. At this concert, the audience will discover Bach's epic violin works, masterfully played on the historic “violoncello piccolo,” a cross between violin and cello.
Tickets are CHF 24.65-69 for adults, half price for students, and CHF 15 for children up to age 16. With the “Festival Pass,” you get a 20% discount compared to individual tickets.
