The songwriter slam evenings at Parterre One are magical. As soon as you enter the club you can feel a special energy. A mix of magic, surprise, and anticipation. Anticipation of good quality music, of new discoveries, of inspiration, of a fair battle.
On these evenings, four to six singer-songwriters play for the favor of the audience, who after each round express their appreciation for the songs—it is always relaxed, happy, and subjective. There are three main rules: The songs must be your original compositions (no covers), the time limit per song is 4 minutes, and the order of the performances is drawn. If you have talent or a song that you would like to present, why not give it a try? All are welcome to join the fun as a singer-songwriter or as a member of the audience. The prize is a good bottle of wine. The two likeable moderators, Michi Motter & Thomas Müller, skillfully lead through the evening with a lot of humor.
Entrance costs CHF 20 in advance, CHF 25 at the door, CHF 5 for students.
