The second-largest contemporary art fair in France has become an unmissable event for art lovers in just a few years. With a broad array of visitors of different nationalities, it hosts around 100 art galleries from France, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, Scandinavia, Spain, the United Kingdom, and other countries in central Europe. It presents creative art beyond borders, where all forms of expression meet—drawing, engraving, glassware, installations, painting, photography, and sculpture. This new edition aims to be surprising and innovative, but also with strong local roots.
For this 27th edition, the ST-ART continues to reach out to all horizons, showcasing artworks, galleries, and artists from across France and Europe. ST-ART remains one of the leading contemporary art and design fairs in the region, thanks to both the exceptional quality of the works presented and the diversity of visitors and collectors who flock there. It will welcome new galleries, including young galleries, but also loyal and renowned galleries.
Strasbourg is located about 1 hour 45 minutes from Basel by car and is easily accessible by train. Make a full day excursion to this beautiful Alsatian French city with its half-timbered houses and visit the Gothic Cathedral of Our Lady of Strasbourg with its 18-meter-high astronomical clock; the Rohan Palace (former residence of the prince-bishops and cardinals of the House of Rohan); and Grande Île, the urban island with historical buildings.
Entrance to the fair costs € 12 per person, € 10 online, € 9 for students, and free for kids under age 16.
