The Stimmen (Voices) music festival has become the largest music event on the Upper Rhine, attracting an impressive array of international stars, soloists, and choirs, providing magical moments and musical experiences for young and old. From July 4 to August 4, the festival will pay homage to the power and beauty of the human voice at various special venues in Germany and Switzerland.
Hardly any other hit embodies Chris Isaak as comprehensively as his groundbreaking classic “Wicked Game.” 2019 marked the 30th anniversary of Isaak's album "Heart-Shaped World," on which "Wicked Game" appeared for the first time—and in 2024, the musician from California will come to the 30th edition of the STIMMEN Festival. Over the course of his nearly 40-year career, the singer and actor has performed all over the world. His track record is impressive, with 13 critically acclaimed studio albums, 12 singles, and several feature films.
At age 19, Tanita Tikaram already caused a sensation with her poetic lyrics and her distinctive, sonorous, and haunting voice. Her debut album “Ancient Heart” with the hits “Twist in my Sobriety” and “Good Tradition” was released in 1988. She is now working on her 10th record.
