Nigerian-born, London-based singer-songwriter Jacob Banks has only one direction to go right now—up. His song "Unknown (To You)" has been streamed more than 45 million times on Spotify alone. He has headlined many festivals and guest starred on the Jimmy Kimmel, Ellen DeGeneres, and Jools Holland television shows. He first introduced his powerful fusion of soul, R&B, and alternative with a series of self-released EPs. Shortly after signing with Interscope Records, he made his full-length debut with "Village" in 2018, to critical acclaim and a spot on VIBE's "30 Best Albums of 2018" list. Banks later released the EP “For my Friends,” which also received critical acclaim from fellow artists such as CLASH, The Line of Best Fit, Notion, and Trench. “I don't just play one genre or stand for one sound. I am a macrocosm of many things and experiences, and I want to share all of that with people,” he says.
