“Superare” means to grow beyond yourself, to master something. The team at Superar Suisse is convinced of the transformative power of music. Since its foundation in 2012, Superar Suisse has been giving children and young people access to professional orchestra and choir lessons. Over 300 children and young people make music at several locations in German-speaking Switzerland and Ticino. Performing regularly in front of an audience strengthens self-confidence, creates lasting enthusiasm for music, and ensures goal-oriented work. Because they believe that music has the potential to change lives, they regularly offer unique concert experiences at the highest musical level.
On this Sunday afternoon, Superar Suisse presents a special musical diversity with its orchestras and choir—from J.P. Rameau's masterpieces to contemporary works by B. Balmages and A.H. Rhomberg from South Africa, from classical compositions by WA Mozart to modern arrangements of L. Armstrong classics. Superar Suisse offers an unforgettable musical journey that transcends the boundaries of genre and culture. Come and share their conviction of the transformative power of music.
