Swiss Chamber Concerts — VivaHolliger
Founded around the turn of the millennium, the Swiss Chamber Concerts rapidly became an essential part of the musical scene. Their programs explore the vast chamber music repertoire in all its facets. Creation is also one of the main preoccupations of the three artistic directors who, particularly through regular commissions to Swiss composers, have made a significant contribution to broadening this repertoire.
This evening will be a celebration of 25 years of Swiss Chamber Concerts. Like at the ensemble's very first concert, Dallapiccola's “Divertimento” will be performed again to mark the anniversary. Heinz Holliger has been a composer, mentor, and oboist for many years. His musical “Lebenslinien” (Lifelines) go back to Bach, whose work has generated inspiration over centuries and still does.
Tickets are CHF 15-35 for adults, CHF 10 for members of Colourkey and for children under age 12.
