The only event of its kind in Switzerland, the Swiss Craft Spirits Festival is a platform for high-quality, handmade Swiss spirits that brings producers and enthusiasts together in one place, presenting more than 100 spirits. No mass production from the assembly line, no artificial ingredients—here you will find only local and artisanal spirits and liqueurs created by independent Swiss producers in small distilleries. From Swiss gin, whisky, or absinth to Kirsch (cherry brandy) or Vielle Prune (plum brandy)—everybody can find something to his or her liking. You can also discover other pleasures, such as cigars, local beers, refreshing ingredients for your mixed drinks, and even gourmet foods. DJs and music create a relaxed and fun atmosphere that will invite you to linger, and you can even vote for your favorite spirits for the Visitor’s Choice Awards.
Entrance costs CHF 29 in advance or CHF 35 at the door, which includes a tasting glass that you can take with you, a neck-band glass holder to free your hands, a CHF 10 voucher towards purchases, and a festival brochure. You can buy your advance tickets on their website.
