Join Swiss Discovery Tours (a collaboration between You Belong in Basel (https://www.ybibasel.ch/) and Fresh Air Kids (https://www.freshairkids.com/) for a lovely hike along the 24 Stops Rehberger Weg that connects the Fondation Beyeler in Riehen with the Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein (D). Along the way, you will discover 24 colorful art installations of varying forms created by the artist Tobias Rehberger.
The starting point is easily accessible with a tram ride from Basel (tram 6, Fondation Beyeler). Please pack some snacks and plenty of water. Be sure to wear comfortable hiking clothes and sturdy hiking boots. Also bring your I.D. as the route crosses the border into Germany, as well as some Euros in case you want to buy something in Germany. The hike will end at the Vitra Design Museum, from where you can take bus 55 back into town or walk to the beginning of the tram 8 line at Weil am Rhein train station.
This beginners-level hike is for adults only (no kids); however, dogs are welcome. Based on the weather, the organizers will confirm on the day before whether the hike will take place as planned.
Meeting place is at the Fondation Beyeler (tram 6) at 9:00 sharp and will end at the Weil am Rhein train station (tram 8).
