Swiss Gospel Singers is a powerful choir from Switzerland with an impressive history—in June 2019, the around 100 singers were invited to sing in a sold-out Carnegie Hall in New York! With a program of their own compositions as well as gospel and folk classics, the Swiss Gospel Singers received standing ovations not only in the United States. This was followed by an OpenAir in Liechtenstein with Lebo M, a CD launch in the completely sold-out Stadtcasino Basel with the global star Chris de Burgh, and a prominent appearance in the SRF television show “Happy Day,” together with Chris de Burgh and Max Giesinger.
In March 2022, the choir, together with de Burgh, was able to organize two benefit concerts for the victims of the war in Ukraine, collecting and donating a quarter of a million francs. The friendly collaboration with de Burgh gave rise to the idea of making a joint Christmas CD. Under the title “Believe in Christmas” they recorded well-known as well as new Christmas gospels alongside world-famous songs by de Burgh. For each CD sold, CHF 5 will be donated to the “Sonnenhof” in Küssnacht, an accommodation for seriously ill children from Ukraine for their treatment. You can look forward to the experience of this CD launch “Believe In Christmas” on this evening.
Tickets are CHF 62.10-82.40 for adults and CHF 31.30-41.50 for kids up to age 16.
