“Who is the fairest of them all?” The evil stepmother asked her treacherous mirror. Do you know the answer? “As white as snow, as red as blood”—fairy tale fans of all ages will remember the melodies of the symphonic rock opera “snoWWhite” for a long time. The extraordinary combination of a rock band and a string orchestra, the interaction of a violin and an electric guitar, will ensure an outstanding musical experience for listeners from age 4.
The composer trio consisting of George Fleury, Raitis Grigalis, and Andreas Xaver Schwarz created the rock opera in 2019. In 2022, all four performances of “snoWWhite” were sold out. In 2023, Fleury and Grigalis arranged the composition for the string section of the Camerata Basilea. The world-famous fairy tale in a high-quality interpretation is intended to bring the whole family, friends, neighbors, students, and clubs into a pre-Christmas good mood.
Tickets are CHF 25 for adults, CHF 10 for kids ages 12-18, and free for kids ages 4-12.
