What could be better than good music and pleasant conversation over a beer or a glass of wine after a day's work? In the new series of the Sinfonieorchester Basel entitled “Casual Classic,” they invite you to a relaxed musical hour in a casual atmosphere where you can leave everyday life behind, sit back, and simply let the emotions of the music take effect.
On this evening, they will be performing “The Planets” by Gustav Holst. Anyone who has seen “Batman,” “Gladiator,” or “Star Wars” has already encountered Holst’s music. After the concert, you can talk about your memories and much more with your friends in the foyer at the After-Concert Party with the American trio Time for Three (TF3). The evening will end with boundless music between pop, jazz, and classical.
Tickets are CHF 50 for adults and CHF 25 for students.
