Talk — Arine Aprahamian. Global Local Architecture

Vitra Design Museum
Thursday, 26 October
18:30

Sustainable architecture requires a change in our thinking: How can more regional materials be used? What role do local climatic and cultural conditions, and the collaboration with the future users play? These issues will be addressed in an English-language talk with the Lebanese-Armenian architect Arine Aprahamian that will take place at the Vitra Schaudepot. Her work includes the conception of dwellings for extreme climates and her interdisciplinary research into materiality and spatial perception.
Admission is free; register at events@design-museum.de.
