Sustainable architecture requires a change of thinking: How can more regional materials be used? What role do local climatic and cultural conditions, and the collaboration with the future users play? These questions will be addressed in this English-language talk with the Lebanese-Armenian architect Arine Aprahamian. Her work includes the conception of dwellings for extreme climates and her interdisciplinary research into materiality and spatial perception.
Admission is free; register at events@design-museum.de. The talk will take place in the Vitra Design Museum’s Schaudepot.
