On the occasion of the opening of the Vitra Design Museum’s new fascinating design exhibition, “Nike: Form Follows Motion,” they are presenting an engaging talk exploring the intersection of design and athletics, featuring Martin Lotti, the visionary Chief Design Officer at Nike. The Swiss-born designer, responsible for shaping the brand's iconic style and vision, will guide you through the past, present, and future of Nike's innovations. Glenn Adamson, the exhibition's curator and Curator-at-Large of the Vitra Design Museum, will moderate the discussion.
Following the talk, you will be invited to join the exclusive vernissage, where you'll be among the first to explore the exhibition, including never-before-seen Nike prototypes. Raise a glass together against the stunning backdrop of the Vitra Design Museum. The talk will be presented at the fire station on the Vitra Design Campus; the vernissage will take place at the Vitra Design Museum.
At 21:00, the fire station will transform into a vibrant party space. Celebrate the convergence of sport, design, and culture with a DJ set that embodies the dynamic spirit of Nike. Enjoy drinks and music in this unique setting for an unforgettable night.
Admission is free, but space is limited; secure your spot by 15 September 2024 at events@design-museum.de.
