The world-famous Oscar winner Ennio Morricone is considered one of the most productive composers in the history of film music. He has written over 500 film scores for cinema and television, creating legendary pieces in the process. He received his last Oscar in February 2016 for Tarantino's "The Hateful Eight." Morricone made himself immortal almost 50 years ago with his music for "Once Upon a Time in the West." His compositions for the spaghetti western classic "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly," Roland Joffé's drama "Mission," and Giuseppe Tornatore's film "Cinema Paradiso" are particularly well-known. Morricone's most important works also include the soundtracks to "Kill Bill 2," "My Name is Nobody," "For a Fistful of Dollars," and "All the President's Men."
His fans can experience Morricone's unforgettable works live in selected cities. Eighty musicians and singers from the Milano Festival Opera under the direction of the renowned conductor Marco Seco will be on stage to bring Morricone's stirring music to life. The technically complex screen animation with the original film scenes condenses the gripping atmosphere and creates the famous goosebump effect that no one can escape.
Tickets are CHF 67.20-122.50.
