Glenn Wool’s comedy is truly awesome—his humor is edgy, imaginative, and original. He's a regular at major festivals like Reading & Leeds, Bestival, and Glastonbury, and he brings an affable charm that leaves audiences in stitches. His TV credits include John Oliver’s New York Stand-Up Show, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, and many more. Recently, he toured with Reginald D. Hunter and has been featured on The John Bishop Show and various other UK stand-up shows. On this evening, Wool will be supported by the hilarious Harriet Dyer and Basel’s local hero Ivan Semashev.
Harriet Dyer is a truly unique talent. She has been a full-time comic since 2013, with critically acclaimed shows and international gigs under her belt. Her writing credits include Jon Richardson's Channel Hopping and Meet the Richardsons, and she won the Neurodivergent Representation Award at Edinburgh Fringe 2022. Known for her originality and insight, Dyer’s comedy is both hilarious and deeply meaningful, often tackling mental health issues with a whimsical touch. Ivan Semashev is a Basel-based comedian, actor, and producer. While starting out in theater, he dove into stand-up comedy in 2018 and has been pursuing it ever since. He has performed in English and Russian at shows throughout Europe and occasionally outside of it, most notably at clubs like ComedyHaus in Zürich, the Comedy Clubhouse in Barcelona, or The Classic Comedy Club in Auckland. He’s energetic, passionate, and has a vast sense of humor—from contemporary satire to complete silliness. No topic’s too sacred or off the table!
