The Countdowns

Kulturhuus Häbse
Saturday, 18 March
19:30-22:00

In 1965 they were the youngest beat band in Switzerland. The times at Union Kino, Atlantis, Greifen, Brandis, and Oasis will never be forgotten. In 1967, The Countdowns were the first Swiss band to record in London. Today, 58 years later, The Countdowns are one of the oldest rock bands in Switzerland and are more convincing than ever. In addition to band founder Claude Pfau and veteran Bernie Spiess, the second generation has now established itself with Linda Spiess and Céline Rickli-Pfau and ensures that the band's sound remains young and cheeky. Supplemented by bassist Giulio Pepe and drummer Oliver Widmer, their sound has remained uncomplicated, fresh, and genuine. Anyone who wants to experience an evening with the sound of the 60s with many well-known hits from the Beatles, Beach Boys, Stones, Pink Floyd, and The Who will get their money's worth with The Countdowns.
Tickets are CHF 43.
