Are they fake news or the new fakes? Nowadays, everyone seems to be a politician, academic, consumer, producer, activist, nihilist, capitalist, conservative, radical, idealist—or all of the above! In “The Happy Few,” five performers use everything around them on stage to accomplish their own transformation into an “ultimate offering.” For humanity, future generations, and all those who do not have the luxury of choosing between harsh reality and the Instagram fairytale world. Are the performers stand-up comedians? Martyrs? Snobby wannabes? Are they superhuman dance virtuosos or just crazy leaflet writers who want to steal your attention until you can't focus on anything else? ... And does any of that even matter?
