His works have yielded him five Oscars for the best film music, and 52 nominations!
Hans Zimmer, of German origin, also has an impressive record—including the original film music for “Black Rain,” “Thelma and Louise,” “The Lion King,” “Gladiator,” “The Last Samurai,” “Tears of the Sun,” “The Dark Knight,” “Inception,” “Pirates of the Caribbean,” and many more. In 2007, the British newspaper “The Daily Telegraph” called Hans Zimmer one of the most important composers of film music in the world.
