The Music of Harry Potter 2024
For 20 years, the “Harry Potter” films have captivated people around the world and across generations. The iconic film music, which was composed by John Williams, Patrick Doyle, Nicolas Hooper, and Alexander Desplat, particularly contributes to this. The famous “Hedwig's Theme,” which is now considered the main theme of the film series, can probably be hummed by almost anyone and it will give you goosebumps!
"The Music of Harry Potter—Live in Concert" is a magical evening. Using state-of-the-art technology, the powerful ensemble of the Cinema Festival Symphonics under the direction of the renowned conductor Stephen Ellery will take Harry Potter fans on a musical journey through all eight Harry Potter films. Soloists, choir, and orchestra celebrate a unique sound force that allows you to fully immerse yourself in the world of magic and provides many goose-bump moments. Elaborate screen animations and visual effects also allow the emotions to reach gripping heights.
You will have goosebumps when “Hedwig's Theme” takes the audience to Hogwarts or the choir sings “Double Trouble.” “The Knight Bus” brings an exuberant atmosphere, while things get mystical with “Black Lake” when the audience dives into the Black Lake with Harry and into the realm of the merpeople. Ultimately, not a single eye stays dry when Hermione disappears from her parents' lives in "Obliviate" and the whole of Hogwarts says goodbye to its beloved headmaster in "Dumbledore's Farewell."
