Peter Jackson's blockbuster movies celebrate their 20th anniversary, and to celebrate, the fantastic world of hobbits, elves, and Orcs from J.R.R. Tolkien’s “Lord of the Rings” and "The Hobbit" comes to life in a unique musical event with symphonic orchestra and choir. From the threatening sounds of Mordor and the shrill attack of the black riders to the beautiful lyrical melodies of the elves, it will transform any concert hall into a musical setting of Middle-Earth. Composer Howard Shore created most of the music for the films, which earned him an Oscar, Grammys, and a Golden Globe. A large orchestra, choir, and outstanding soloists transport the audience into Tolkien’s world-famous fantasy world, whether with bombastic timpani and gongs or elvish delicate flute tones. Impressive light- and screen animations further intensify the emotions.
