The Next Movement always surprises with their limitless artistic output and groovy sound. This is also the case on their latest release “Never Coming Down.” This explosive neo-soul/funk track skillfully showcases their extraordinary talent, led by singer/drummer JJ Flueck, together with Pascal “P” Kaeser on bass and synth, and guitar virtuoso Sam Siegenthaler. Although they are a trio, their well-rehearsed, tight sound fills the room as if it were a quintet or even a sextet. The irrepressible energy and rich groove served here are simply impressive. Combined with impeccable production and highly potent performance, The Next Movement once again prove their high level of musical ability. Brilliant performances at the Leverkusen Jazz Days (Rockpalast WDR broadcast), the Black Sea Jazz Festival, Saulkrasti Jazz in Latvia, and the Dresden Jazz Days have catapulted the trio into one of the top acts in the European groove scene.
