The Simple Music Ensemble — Princess Mononoke

The concert will feature the music of the famous Japanese composer Joe Hisaishi from the full-length animated film "Princess Mononoke" by the famous Japanese animator Hayao Miyazaki. Hisaishi’s music has become an integral part of Miyazaki's animated films. It seems as if it is the music that enlivens the anime heroes, breathes new life into them and gives them a soul. In the anime "Princess Mononoke," the composer's melodies perfectly complement the drama of the young prince Ashitaka, who has been brought under a heavy curse and is forced to embark on a dangerous adventure, only to realize that the hardest battle he has ever had to fight is against himself.
The musicians of the Simple Music Ensemble World play Hisaishi's music in their own arrangements and take the audience on a magical journey through the worlds of the great storyteller Miyazaki. This program is interesting for the whole family!
