April 29, 2008: The discoverer of LSD, Albert Hofmann, takes one last trip for his final journey. On his deathbed, his companions from pharmacological research accept the order to complete his life's work: to heal the world with the help of the peace drug. But the details, including the chemical formulae, fall into the wrong hands. A turbulent chase through the laboratories and carpeted floors of the pharmaceutical industry and the back rooms of power begins. It leads into a wild thicket in which technocrats and utopians, villains and shamans appear. After “Immer Ärger mit Bartleby,” Rocko Schamoni deals with a world beyond the gates of perception. This theater piece will be performed in German with English surtitles.
Tickets are CHF 30-70 and CHF 10 for youths and students.
