Grammy-nominated jazz musician Theo Croker is a storyteller who speaks through his trumpet. With his acclaimed third album “Star People Nation” at the latest, he has caused quite a stir on the international music scene as a creative spirit who defies boundaries. The New York Times spoke of an album “that moves from swirling hip-hop beats to propulsive swing to rousing African drum passages. Throughout, Croker's subtle trumpet playing holds his small band together perfectly.”
Croker built on this success with “BLK2LIFE A Future Past,” a star-studded opus featuring guests such as Wyclef Jean, Ari Lennox, Gary Bartz, Charlotte Dos Santos, Iman Omari, Malaya, and Kassa Overall. Over the years, Croker has also been featured on platinum albums from J. Cole to Ari Lennox, played with rapper Common, and appeared on several movie soundtracks. With his seventh studio album “Love Quantum,” he recently opened another chapter in his development as an artist.
