Three Wise Men — I Got Rhythm. The Gershwin Years

From 1924 to 1937, brothers George and Ira Gershwin wrote almost exclusively together and composed more than two dozen scores for Broadway and Hollywood. George (the composer of "Rhapsody in Blue" and "Porgy and Bess") and Ira wrote many hits, but their greatest achievement was probably that they elevated musical comedy to an American art form. The internationally renowned swing trio Three Wise Men has been touring Europe since 2007 and is dedicating its current tour to the legendary Gershwin brothers.
Frank Roberscheuten's virtuoso clarinet and saxophone playing skilfully combines the "sound of the 30s" with new improvisation templates. Rossano Sportiello, who was born in Milan and lives in New York, is considered by experts to be one of the world's best pianists in traditional jazz. The New York Times wrote of him that he is the best import from Italy since Barolo wine. Swing drummer Bernard Flegar provides the rhythmic foundation with no less virtuosity.
