Tom Odell

With his new studio album, "A Wonderful Life," Tom Odell has created a work that embodies a universal spirit of empathetic, total honesty; an album that looks at the fractured landscape of modern, fragmented society, finding dystopia and doom, but also beauty and hope. Odell recently toured arenas across Europe supporting Billie Eilish and will return to many of the same venues later this year as a headliner as part of a 27-date arena tour across the U.K. and Europe. Coinciding with the album announcement, Odell is releasing a new single, "Don't Cry, Put Your Head on my Shoulder." The cinematic lullaby, with guitar accompaniment, soon climbs to a higher pitch and has all the anthemic qualities that suggest Odell and his audience will be bathed in the light of cell phone flashlights and lighters when it becomes a regular part of his live set.
The haunting title track of the album "Black Friday" has garnered nearly 700 million views since its release in late 2023, while Odell’s 2012 breakthrough hit, "Another Love," has garnered over three billion listens on Spotify alone. On TikTok, the song has spent the past two years climbing into the top 50 of Billboard's TikTok charts and providing the soundtrack to millions of TikTok videos, making it one of Spotify's 25 most-streamed songs of all time. But the streaming figures and the numerous awards are only part of the story of this talented musician, who manages to directly touch the hearts of millions around the world with his music. This is one reason why both young artists (The Last Dinner Party, Billie Eilish, AURORA) and established artists (Cat Stevens, Elton John) have expressed their love and support for his work.
