The Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich consists of approximately 100 musicians from about 20 countries. Under the leadership of their Music Director Paavo Järvi, and with Austrian-Iranian cellist Kian Soltani, they will perform Edward Elgar’s Cello Concerto in E minor op. 85 and Dmitri Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 5 in D minor op. 47.
