On six Sundays from spring to autumn, the BVB tram museum is open. Enjoy more than 125 years of Basel tram history in their small but fine museum with insights into everything that also belongs to public transport. Let the museum guides explain details to you, show you vintage cars in the depot, and tell you some anecdotes. On their tram simulator, everyone can drive a tram through the city themselves. Round off your visit with a vintage car ride on Museum Line 7, which runs during opening hours—an experience for the whole family.

Tram Café: On four of those Sunday—May 19, June 16, September 15, and October 20—Station Cirque transforms the Trämmli (old tram) into a cozy café from 13:30-17:30. A visit to the museum can be combined with a drink and something to eat at Station Circus, or conversely, a visit to Station Circus can be combined with a viewing of beautiful old Trämmlis in the tram depot next door.

Entrance to the tram museum is free; the rides on the simulator must be reserved on site during the regular opening days for CHF 6 for adults and CHF 3 for children.
