“The need has come to an end! The time of village music is over!”...was the slogan on the poster of the Hamburg “Star-Club,” where The Beatles performed for the first time in 1962. At the time, few could have imagined the potential of the four boys from Liverpool and the hysteria they would cause worldwide just two years later. Even if the international tribute band The Love Beatles has not yet been able to trigger mass hysteria, they present the typical beat of the early years through to the psychedelically complex compositions of the quartet with a full range and attention to detail. It is only logical that during this show, which is unique in Germany, not only the mushroom hairstyles but also the beards grow and at the same time the authentic costumes and instruments become more colorful, capturing the zeitgeist of the swinging sixties.
“Mach Schau!” was the motto of their Star Club Sessions Tour 2023, for which The Love Beatles threw on their smoky leather outfits. They took their audience on a journey back in time to the early 60s on Hamburg's infamous Reeperbahn. Rock'n'roll, beat and a hint of sea air wafted through Germany's concert halls.
