Tuesday Evening Bicycle Race

Swiss Cycling beider Basel is hosting five Tuesday-evening bicycle races this spring that start at 19:00 in Möhlin, around 20 minutes from Basel. Races are held on a 3.4-km loop, and distances depend on the age category, ranging from 10.2 km for kids born 2009-2012 to 44.2 km for elite cyclists. Typically, 70-90 cyclists participate each week in the various categories, depending on the weather.
Start and finish are on Haldenstrasse in Möhlin, near the intersection with Erlenhof. The race takes place on local roads, which are well marked and secured, with several posts and other helpers along the way to make sure everybody can participate safely.
