Ukrainian Classical Ballet — Sleeping Beauty with Storyteller
The fairy tale of Sleeping Beauty, who is kissed awake by a prince after 100 years of sleep, has long captivated readers young and old. In the Russia of the tsarist era, a ballet was also created from the fairy tale material, and something special was thought up for the St. Petersburg premiere: In the third act, various characters from other fairy tales do the honors to congratulate Sleeping Beauty and the prince on their wedding. For example, Puss in Boots, Cinderella, and Little Red Riding Hood are part of the wedding party. To ensure that even the very youngest can keep track of everything and that the performance can be a treat for the whole family, a storyteller will appear in the Ukrainian Classical Ballet's performance. Of course, the stage design and costumes also contribute to the fact that all spectators can immerse themselves in the fairy tale world!
Tickets are € 29-45 for adults and € 12 for youths.
