The association Theaterplatz-Quartier will again be bringing a mobile forest of about 250 native plants and trees to the Theaterplatz and Pyramidenplatz this summer. The green oasis provides shade, offers cozy spaces to relax in the open air, invites you to linger, and creates spaces for culture. With the mobile forest, the public spaces in the Theaterplatz district become pleasant lounges in the everyday life of the Basel population.
On this day, they will be inaugurating the new meeting place with a "Waldfest" that offers a cultural and nature program. There will be numerous movies (in various languages, including English); workshops related to the theme of greenery (forest, wood, gardening, flowers); activities and tours; a picnic in the forest (which you can reserve in advance on their website); as well as chilling, dancing, and live music into the night.
