Winter Sessions is a concert series at the Markthalle presenting indie music that provides a platform primarily for artists from the region. The genres are broad—from Americana, neo folk, and acoustic rock to jazz and experimental pop.
On this evening, Arbajo Jairus will return to the Markthalle with a live band, presenting Basel rap with English lyrics on beats by Meister Lampe in the style of the golden era of the 90s. Live backing from bass guitar and drums creates the perfect soundscape for Jairus’ personal texts.
Entrance is free but there will be a collection.
