World Concerts — Vivaldi. The Four Season
The Chamber Orchestra of the New Philharmonic Hamburg will be presenting an unforgettable Vivaldi concert, where you can listen to the sounds of "Le quattro stagioni" (The Four Seasons) and other well-known masterpieces. The second half of the concert reflects the diversity of European classical music—Mozart, Dvorak, Bahms, and Elgar.
The new Hamburg Philharmonic was founded in 2001 by freelance professional musicians from all over the world. Since then, the orchestra has earned and maintained a leading position in the Northern German musical landscape. It sees itself as a dynamic orchestra that can be expanded from smaller ensembles for chamber orchestra to a large symphony orchestra with choir. The centerpiece, however, has always remained the chamber orchestra, which has hardly changed since it was founded and whose members are very well attuned to each other. With numerous guest appearances in Spain, France, Italy, and South Korea, it has gained a large circle of friends among the listeners. The orchestra's concertmaster, Tigran Mikaelyan, will conduct the concert.
