The Sinfonieorchester Basel is very pleased and touched by the many votes and responses they received in the survey of the music magazine Concerti for the “Audience of the Year 2021.” Thanks to the public’s support, the orchestra was by far in first place in the online voting. They would like to thank their audiences most sincerely for this with a concert of audience favorites and will be holding their first request concert at the Stadtcasino Basel. Twenty “hits” of classical music were put to the vote, from which they will perform the five most frequently requested works. Artistic Director Hans-Georg Hofmann will lead through the request concert and chief conductor Ivor Bolton will conduct.
Tickets are CHF 35-105 for adults and half price for students.
