This summer, the Kunstmuseum Basel invites you to celebrate art with their special Wednesday evening programs, called YARD, in their amazing courtyard. YARD presents music by new voices between soul, indie, and electronic, as well as sounds from disco, funk, and house DJ sets.
From 17:00-20:00, you can visit the museum's collection free of charge on these days. The concerts then start at 20:00, 19:30 for DJ sets.
On this evening, you can listen to a music set by Kappa Mountain, the new project by Audio Dope and Matthias Gusset, which was born from the idea of a remix during a joint jam session. It was inspired by Kappa Mountain, the highest mountain on Yoshi's Island in "Super Mario" and named after the Japanese mythical creature Kappa, a frog-like demon that carries a pond on its head.
Entrance to these events is free.
