When the charismatic Austrian star violinist Yury Revich enters the stage, pure magic happens. He elicits violin sounds from his Guarneri that cannot be surpassed in terms of virtuosity and richness of expression. His program “Kaleidoskop” is also a sparkling music show—particularly seductive with the accompaniment of accordion and guitar. Revich pays homage to the romantic and passionate tradition of gypsy music but also includes composers such as Massenet and Paganini in his sound bouquet. With the accompaniment of Basha Slavinska on accordion and Luka Lovrekovic on guitar, this is chamber music at its finest.
