Every summer, the Basel Zoo stays open late one night for the “Zolli-Nacht.” They promise an exciting evening for the whole family to observe and learn about the animals, with specialists on hand and many stations set up to provide exciting information about the animals’ behavior, as well as tours and activities for all ages. This year’s special theme is “Singen, stinken, stampfen” (Ssinging, stinking, stomping), where the focus will be on discovering the fascinating world of animal communication. For example, you can print fabric bags with the WWF logo, hop into the photo booth for unforgettable memories, discover native wildlife, acquire information from stations for various animal species, explore information mobiles with exhibits to touch, and much more. There will be plenty of gastronomical offers, including an atmospheric bar near the rhinos, ice cream, and more.
Entrance fee is 30% reduced starting at 17:00 (subscriptions are valid); skip the line by buying your tickets online.
