Zürcher Sing-Akademie — Brahms “German Requiem”
The "German Requiem" by Johannes Brahms is certainly one of the most touching works in music history. The intuitively understandable text and the nuanced tonal language find their way directly into the hearts of the listeners. This performance, conducted by Florian Helgath, is a very special experience, performed in an unfussy, transparent manner by the baroque instruments of the Orchestra La Scintilla and emotionally represented by the Zürcher Sing-Akademie. Soprano Hanna-Elisabeth Müller and baritone Markus Werba will perform the solo parts.
Tickets are CHF 30-110 for adults, CHF 20 for students, and CHF 10 for youths under age 14.
