Miniature Golf
With its cooler breezes and indirect sun, autumn is a great time of year to enjoy the outdoors with your family. One activity that can be good fun for all ages is the sport (or game) of miniature golf (mini-golf). There are several locations where you can play miniature golf in the Basel area.
Park im Grünen
Located in Münchenstein, Park im Grünen offers a mini-golf course that is open 7 days a week from 10:00–18:00; closed in case of bad weather. Entrance costs CHF 6 for adults and CHF 4 for kids. You can purchase a 10-ticket booklet for the price of nine, and members with at least one child receive a 50% discount on admission when you present your Famigros-Karte. Park im Grünen has also a 1,000 m2 playground equipped with a climbing castle, rope bridges, wooden huts, slides and swings, as well as an old-fashioned carousel that is open on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays starting from 14:00-17:00.

Minigolf Ergolz
Located in Pratteln (15 minutes from Basel), this mini-golf course is open weekday afternoons, as well as from 10:00 until early evening on Saturdays and Sundays. A game costs CHF 8 for adults, CHF 4 for kids under age 16, and there are reduced rates for groups of 10 or more. You can also buy a day pass for CHF 18 and CHF 9, respectively, for unlimited fun (except on Sundays).

Schwarzlicht Paradies Mini Golf
In Füllinsdorf (20 minutes from Basel), you can have a totally different mini-golf experience—glow-in-the-dark mini-golf lit up by black lights. In a 400 m2 area, “Schwarzlichtminigolf” is a weather-independent fun game for all ages. Not only do the walls glow in jungle-style, the miniature golf clubs and balls, as well as the 18 lanes are also painted with colors that shine brightly under the UV light. Put on a pair of 3D glasses for the ultimate black-light mini-golf experience. Prices are CHF 12 for adults and youth from age 16, CHF 9 for children ages 4-16.
After your game, you can visit the bistro for tasty drinks and snacks. This venue also offers virtual reality golf (CHF 28 for person per 30-minute game), and virtual reality escape room (CHF 48 per person for 60 minutes or CHF 62 for 90 minutes).
