Baloise Session Is Coming! Get Your Tickets Now!
Messe Basel
October 17 – November 8
If your idea of a perfect night out is to attend a concert of your favorite internationally known music star in an intimate setting, with a drink in hand, rather than in a stadium with tens of thousands of screaming fans—then you need to discover the Baloise Session! For 35 years, music fans have been enjoying local and international music stars of the highest caliber in the unique New York-style club setting with round tables and candlelight. The intimacy of the small concert hall, which only seats 1,550 people, contributes to the unforgettable experience of this special event, both for the audiences and the artists! Giant screens ensure that even the audience members seated at the back will not miss any details.
A unique feature of the Baloise Session is that all concerts are double headers, with two main performers who have something in common. This can be a similar style, history, geographical background, or some other link or shared characteristic that is often surprising.
For this year’s edition, which will include 10 concert evenings from October 17 to November 8, they have just announced their lineup—and it again includes world-class musicians! The musical spectrum ranges from singer-songwriters to pop stars, world-class guitarists, and musical legends. This year’s 10 concerts include the following unique and fascinating pairings:
- Thursday, October 17: “Opening Night” with Marc Sway, followed by Take That
- Friday, October 18: “Soulful Disco” with Sophie Ellis-Bextor, followed by Seal
- Saturday, October 19: “Soul Grooves” with Jacoténe, followed by Seal

Ticket sales will start on August 28 at 8:00. With the these amazing stars and the relatively small size of the venue, tickets will be going quickly, so if you are interested, mark your calendar and go to their website or your closest Ticketcorner sales site to secure your unforgettable night! Kulturhaus Bider & Tanner will also sell the tickets—they will even open an hour earlier on August 28! To avoid excessively priced tickets or fakes, it is strongly advised to purchase tickets only from official advance ticket sales offices authorized by the Baloise Session, and never from websites run by so-called ticket brokers such as Alltickets, Viagogo, Onlineticketsshop, Worldticketshop, Vienna Ticketoffice, Ticketbande, Ebay, Ricardo and others.
