10 Meilen Laufen
This classic run in the Laufental has been a favorite of locals since 1981. Its name is a word play on the verb “laufen” (to run) and on the town of Laufen in Baselland, where the run takes place. As the name implies, the main event is a 10-mile run or walk (16.1 km), but there is also a 7-mile run (11.3 km), and a 4-mile run or walk (6.4 km). Starting at 18:30, participants will run or walk in the picturesque old town of Laufen and surrounding areas. Depending on the length of your run, you will be passing through the scenic valley, along the river Birs, towards Zwingen and Brislach, and through forested areas.
You can register online until June 23 for adults (CHF 30/CHF 35), for U18/U20 for CHF 20, and free for youths thanks to Migros’ iMpuls. Late registration can be done on the day for CHF 45. You can pick up your start number up until one hour before near the start at the Schulhaus Serafin.
