For the 18th year, the Stedtli-Blues will be taking place at the Helye-Platz in Laufen’s beautiful old town. This year’s edition will once again present a varied line-up for blues fans and music-loving guests. As every year, the students of the Laufental-Thierstein music school will kick things off at 16:00. For an atmospheric start to the evening, the charismatic Big Creek Slim and his band will conjure up the spirit of the Delta blues. He will be accompanied by Roger C. Wade, one of the best British harmonica virtuosos. Afterwards, Bywater Call, one of the world's hottest southern soul and blues rock bands, will entertain the audience with an electrifying live show. And for the finale, Marc Amacher will “bring the place to the boil” musically with his incomparable voice and stage presence and a strong pinch of rock.
Tickets for this event can be purchased online in advance for CHF 40 online and in various locations in Baselland, or at the box office for CHF 50; kids up to age 14 are free.
