Accompanied Swimming in the Rhein

Museum Tinguely
17:45

It is highly recommended that you never swim alone in the Rhein. If you would like to swim with a group of people, the Sports Department Basel-Stadt organizes a “group float” from the Tinguely Museum to Wettsteinbrücke at 17:45 on every Tuesday from July 5 to August 30. The Swiss Life-Saving Society of Basel and Oberwil, as well as the water rafting club in Horburg, accompany the swimmer every Tuesday with a Weidling river boat. Simply register online by clicking on the date of participation at https://www.ed-formulare.ch/begleitetes-rheinschwimmen/anmeldung-begleitetes-rheinschwimmen; if you cannot make it, kindly de-register by phone at 061-267-5768 or by email at sportangebote@bs.ch. This offer is completely free and aimed at confident swimmers of all ages.
Show-up no later than 17:45 below the Tinguely Museum at the "Chez Jeannot" restaurant.
