The Akademisches Kammerorchester Zürich (Zurich Academic Chamber Orchestra), under the direction of Johannes Schlaefli, will present their new program "Hopelessly Romantic" featuring works from the Romantic era. The cellist Polina Yarullina will be the soloist.
The program includes Giacomo Puccini’s Preludio sinfonico in A major, SC 32; Peter I. Tchaikovsky’s Variations on a Rococo Theme for Cello and Orchestra in A major, op. 33, “Rokoko Variationen;” and Johannes Brahms’ Symphony No. 2 in D major, op. 73.
Entrance is free but donations are appreciated.
