The Knabenkantorei Basel (KKB, Basel Boys' Choir) is a choir school for boys and young men. Its offerings range from parent-child singing classes and various course levels to a concert choir with boys' and men's voices. The KKB evolved from the "Boys' Choir of the Evangelical Reformed Church of Basel-Stadt," founded in 1927, and is today denominationally and institutionally independent. Its repertoire encompasses both sacred and secular music, ranging from Renaissance a cappella works and the great oratorios of the Romantic era to folk songs and popular tunes.
“AMASIMI | Living Field” is a journey through soundscapes full of longing, celebration, and love of home. Between quiet transience and jubilant joy of life, a common field grows, carried by young male voices that connect. The concert forms the finale of a tour to South Africa that the young men of the KKB conducted in May.
