“Kamuyot” is a joyful show that is full of energy but also knows how to arouse diverse emotions. With a profoundly innovative choreography, “Kamuyot” blurs the line between dancers and spectators, in a joyful elation that speaks to all generations. Body and soul, the 14 dancers let themselves be carried away by the music—sometimes pop, sometimes classical, even psychedelic—in a contagious passion. “Kamuyot,” created in 2003 for the young dancers of the Batsheva company, continues its tour in Alsace with the Ballet de l'Opera national du Rhin. The result of choreographer Ohad Naharin's intuitive "gaga" dance method, this show reveals the creative potential of each dancer through a unique collective experience. It embodies a bodily musicality that manifests with power and technicality, a liberating language common to all.
