The Basel Social Club, a side art event that takes place during the Art Basel, will be moving to the city center, from its previous open-air edition on the Bruderholz. Held in a different venue each year, the event brings together art, social life, and entertainment, positioning itself as a compelling alternative to traditional art fairs. More than just an exhibition, Basel Social Club fosters social connections and dialogue, transforming the experience of art into an engaging and interactive encounter. By uniting galleries of various scales and artists from diverse backgrounds, the event creates an inclusive and multifaceted art environment. Throughout the exhibition, visitors will experience a dynamic program featuring interactive events, live music performances, film screenings, and culinary explorations, creating a rich and multi-layered artistic atmosphere. Since its inception four years ago as an initiative of Basel gallerists, curators, and artists, the Basel Social Club has grown into an internationally acclaimed art event with the participation of galleries and performance artists from all over the world.
Thes year, the event will take place in the historic bank buildings on Rittergasse.
